Officially, the Cub Scout may start their next level as soon as the school year ends. So we give them their books and neckerchiefs in May for the summer. (One exception: Those who are already Webelos do not get a new book or neckerchief, but they still pay the same dues because their awards are far more expensive.) <br> | |||
We pay the following calendar-year Charter at the end of October. We used to ask for these (dues) in September. But it took way too long, and in the early years it was hard to pay the Council on time. Dues:
- May-December $55
- January $45
