The new Lion Cub program is a pilot program. Our council (a geographical area compositing Santa Clara and most of San Benito and Monterey counties) is one of a few in which this is offered in 2016.
The flyer you may have received in school shows Cub Scouts racing Pinewood Derby cars. Lions will not be building or racing those; that is not part of the pilot program. That is why on that flyer it said to read this web page before signing up; we want to explain the Program and answer as many questions as possible ahead of time.
